funky funk over?

It's on it's way out finally. I've been in a funk for a while now. Quite a while. But I am on the way out of it. I've noticed that everything is cyclic. Is that even the right spelling? lol

But the cycles are getting quicker than they used to. I am beginning to think it because I'm not actually dealing with the other issues, just letting them go by.

I am finally to the point of taking control of life instead of just dealing with it as it happens. Ahhhh, this is such a better place to be in. I really dislike dealing with it as it happens. I'm still wondering about going to a therapist, but it doesn't seem like such a necessity at the moment. Cause I really don't have time to research for a good one and then have an appointment. Goodness, there are days I can barely get my workout in and I work at the freakin' gym!

google dance

Is google ever going to get done with their dancing? Now don't get me wrong, I really do love google. It is the only search I use. But this stupid PR is the worst thing ever thought up. Not only that, but they rethink every so often how to make it more stupid. But this latest transition has been going on over 2 months.

I love to see the little green line go up on my sites. Even though I know it really has nothing to do with my sales and traffic, it's just cool. lol But I do need it to go up so I can get some more of my blogs on some paid sites. I don't want to just rely on this site for paid blogging. I want to jump in with both feet and get soaking wet this month. lol

The consensus is it finally quit updating because it was so out of date. That is cool, I can totally live with that. But we need to get some of the other sites updated with that decision. lol I have sites with major traffic that are still not pulling in numbers for paid blogging because of PR. The big dummies!

Paid blogging

I know you have seen the disclaimer on here and then of course some of the links. Not all of them as some of them are just me sending you to my favorite places I know and love. lol But I did join Pay Per Post a few months ago and I've been very happy with them.

I've only been taking opps here and there but it has been enough to pay for my websites and some monthly programs I belong too. That is all I was hoping for. Now it is time to start taking a few more opps and cover some more fun expenses. Like trips to the movies and family dinner nights.

I am glad I don't have to take any blogging opportunities that don't fit into my blog. I'm not ready to sell myself out just to get a couple of bucks. But I do appreciate finding new sites to visit and then reviewing them for all of you to check out.

My favorites are the movies. There have been movie opps that have come out and I haven't even heard of the movie yet in previews. It never fails that I start seeing the trailers about a week after it becomes available through Pay Per Post. I love being able to check out the movie sites before anyone else even knows about it.

Blogging about stuff I like is of course an addiction. But making extra money while I blog about it is now an obsession. You to can get paid to blog about whatever you want. Just pick what fits your life and post!

Football yipee!

I'm so glad football is back on. I can sit here and do webwork and still be watching the game. I don't actually have to watch it since I've been watching it since I was little. I can listen and look up when a really good play happens. lol Plus we have tivo so if I missed something we just rewind. What in the world did we do before Tivo? I can't even remember those dark ages.

Right now we are in the end of the third quarter and the second washington team is sucking butt. lol We quit watching the WSU game because it was so bad and the UW game finally started. But now UCLA just did a killer interception and the game will totally be over. I actually think I hear hubby brushing his teeth and getting ready for bed. He's the one that likes to watch college ball, not me!

If that is the case then I have a bunch of movies to catch up on tonight while I update blogs. :)

Plan ahead for Xmas

...without leaving the house.

Many people cringe when they hear the words Black Friday. But me, I laugh in the face of no sleep and long lines. Ok, I'm only laughing from sleep deprivation and a caffeine high. But that is beside the point. lol

I do love Black Friday but I have no way to get to all the stores at once and get the best deals. I also don't like leaving our hill anymore and that means I don't get to all the stores I used to. :( Let alone the fact that all of the stores you can find at bfads are not all in my area anymore. I miss that. All of the companies that I have seen so far are the one's that I used to hit regularly when the kids were young and we were closer to the big mall.

For those of you that have never participated in Black Friday you will be getting in much better by joining the newsletter. Normally you have to sit on Thanksgiving Day and go through the big ads for the next morning. Stores open anywhere from 5-7am and have door buster sales to get you there early. Now is the hard part. Many of them have MUST HAVE items in very limited quantities per store. There is no way to hit all the stores at opening to get the best deals.

But you can go to bfads and find the ads as soon as they are released to the printers. Then choose what you are looking for and shop ONLINE! ARE YOU KIDDING ME? Wow, I will be sitting at home with my laptop this Black Friday and having the time of my life shopping. I encourage you to sign up for updates.

Last night of puppies

My Aunt is home tomorrow afternoon and my time with the girls will be up for a little while. We've had them for about 4 weeks and I don't know what I'm gonna do without them. The first couple of weeks was a big adjustment, but now it's like having 2 more kids. lol Except these kids will nap with me whenever I want. LMBO

K, the problem is hubby is gone a lot lately and I only have them with me in the evening to watch tv with. Cuddle on the couch. I haven't had something so excited to see me when I get home than when the kids were super young. These dogs are constant puppies even at a little over 1 and I'm gonna miss them.

She said she's not going to be out of town for a while now and that makes me sad. I told her we could have joint custody of the dogs, but now I'm sorry I did. :( If she's not going to travel as much, then I'm going to have to get a couple of little dogs. I'm just going to miss having them too much not to get my own.

Movies to choose from

I have too many choices for movies and tv shows tonight. lol It's hard to decide on the quick show, finish Black Snake Moan, or start Delta Farce or Georgia Rule. I'm half way through BSM I think, so I will finish that one first. I'll report back on how it finishes. I hadn't heard anything about it before watching a preview on another movie in the last week. After the preview I knew I had to see it.

Lawrence Fishbourne plays a man that lives in the rural south. One day he goes out to find a young white woman beaten (thought to be dead) on his road. He learns through others that she is a druggy sex addict and he deems it his responsibility to save her from herself. There have been a lot of funny parts for how serious the movie is. Also, there are many other little stories going on as well. But it's easy to keep up with. I'll try to get back with a review of the whole movie soon.

Weight loss help

I'm a personal trainer by day, not sure if you've read that anywhere on here or not. lol Being such I have come across many clients that have had weight loss surgery and none of them have kept it off. Obviously because they didn't get the help, they merely had surgery and were let off on their own. That is just not an option. You have to change your habits.

Sometimes obesity surgery is a life saving necessity. In those cases you still need counseling. Journey Lite has all of that and more. You can go to their home page and find a seminar near you to see if this is even a good option for you. They have forums, recipes, support groups and a lot of education. Education is key to your success and Journey Lite is dedicated to you succeeding.

Hello again

Well I'm just checking in to see if anyone needs a fast forward to where it's really happening. I'm keeping this open for some specific reasons. lol

So what's happening around here? Well school started and that was crazy to get used to last week. I'm back to work almost full swing. Ok, I didn't make it 30 hours, but I intended to. lmao Get off my back! I have more appointments set up for this week, so I'll get back in a groove.

Tonight I'm PMSing so bad I'm looking for a good bar fight. Anyone wanna head down to the bar with me for some tequila shots? It's Sunday night so you know the chicks down there deserve a good beatin'!!! Sigh, no one ever wants to go start trouble with me. Guess that's a good thing.

Alright, I need to hit the zillion other blogs I have going as well. I just wanted to send a quick update and HOLA Bitchola's!

Notice me gone?

So did you notice that I'm not at this address much? Miss me yet? I have put the blog back on wordpress, but have to keep this one open in case of an emergency again. lol So you can hit me on either blog for some updates. But if you want to get more of the dish, then hit my domain at www.busymomma.com.

This week has been super hot. We aren't used to 90's here in Seattle. Especially this early in the Summer! I love it, but it's quite miserable in the afternoon/evening. It's midnight right now and the house is finally starting to cool off. All the doors and windows are open and fans are going everywhere. I'm getting dog tired, but I can't stand to close up the house yet. It's going to get so dang hot when I do. :(

It's to cool down after today. Hoping we actually get the storms that are predicted. Although not any rain. We are going to have a yard sale this weekend, so no rain!

Laptoppy

Guess what I am typing from at this moment? Are you really that freakin' stupid, read the title. lmao Yep, the laptop is here. It shipped a day early and then took only another day to get here. Holy crap DHL rocks. I need to figure out how to ship stuff through them for Christmas, cause they can't be matched for service.

I'm in heaven. Hubby won't bug me about it for a few days. lol But this is what he wanted. Now instead of being behind him on the PC, I can sit by him at the coffee table to work. :) I can't wait to get so much done while I'm at work. Course I have to get everything loaded to this one first. lol I'm hoping that won't take too long. Now if I can get a wireless network while I'm at work, I'll be in heaven!!!

I swear I'm gonna hit a wifi cafe just cause I can. lol What a dork I am huh? Oh wait, did you ever read that I live in the Seattle area? See it's not my fault I'm a computer dork, we come by it naturally cause of the lack of sun. roflmao Lot's of internet cafe's here. Just to find one that has good coffee and good sandwiches. :)

It's taking me forever to get used to the new keyboard and mouse. I really dislike the mousepad on the laptop. I hover my wrist over it so much that it throws my windows off. lol Floats back and forth between the tabs. I'm sure I'll get used to it. I do have a wireless mouse, but then I have to sit forward at the table instead of having it on my lap. I'm in spoiled mode right now, not sit and be uncomfy mode.

Funny story about the mouse. I hate reading directions. I do for big things, but not for stupid stuff like a mouse. I ripped open the plastic for it with my crappy scissors, worried I was going to cut myself open on the plastic. Why is that crap so dang hard to get into? Then pull out the usb link and plug it in, easy cheesy, grab the mouse pad and try to use it. Nothing, waiting, nothing, mother fucker. What is wrong with it. Should be plug and go. :( Well then after a few glasses of wine it doesn't matter to me if I break the damn thing and I start pushing this button on the end. Yes I know some of you are laughing hysterically and probably peeing your pants. DUH, needs a damn battery? WHAT? lol Oh, guess reading the directions would be good for the little stuff.

hosting update

Well whatever was wrong with the hosting is fixed now. THANK YOU internet Gods! I am switching some of the things over to another host and condensing stuff so I don't have so many log ins anymore. lol But the best news of all is it got me to go research how to get new blogger posts over to WP. It wasn't that hard actually. But now PPP won't let me change back to my original domain until my blog gets a PR.

Who the fuck cares about PR? NO ONE that's who! It has nothing to do with anything. But I guess they have to have some kind of standard to go by. Whatever, it will rank eventually. The really crappy thing is that google just went through and did their page ranks and the URL was a mess at the time. So it is unranked right now. Damnit!

How Aquarius are you?

You are 73% Aquarius

Well I should hope that is 73%. Since I am an aquarius. lol Couldn't help taking the quiz to find out. :)

hosting-arghhhh

Well here I go again. Is this not why I've kept blogger for my two main blog accounts? Why yes it is. I deleted my previous busymomma blog all on my own. lol Totally to blame for it. But right now, I have no idea what is going on with my hosting company. Not only do I not know what is going on, but I have no way to get ahold of them because their site is down as well.

Now my sites are still up, so that is a good thing. But alas, I have 3 major blogs that are down and the databases are not showing in my hosting account. None of the scripts are up, so the chat room is down on momchats. My scrapbook shop, has no shop and has no gallery. Again, all of the databases are gone too.

I was on them yesterday deleting spam around 3pm PST and my friend IMed me at 11pm that they were offline. She has some hosting with the company as well.

I'm so pissed at myself for not backing shit up. Again, my stupidity, but I don't know how much room I have on this computer. lmao If I lose my wellness blog I am going to completely freak out. I mean wig. I have a ton of posts on there and it had just gotten ranked on google. I know, I know, that doesn't matter, but it does damn it! So now we are getting close to what is probably 24 hours of them being down and I just don't even know what to do.

I have found a new hosting account for most of it. One site will stay on there because I'm going to sell it and it's just easier to keep it seperate like it is. But I've found some great places to host that come highly recommended, tons of room and most importantly...phone numbers to get info from when needed.

So I'm going to spread out my hosting options a little bit more. I won't have all my important blogs on the same hosting company again. ARGHHH, this is so damn frustrating when I had nothing to do with it. Please, please, please just be a server upgrade!

Scary movies- bug

I love edge of your seat type movies. The one's that scare the crap out of you, but don't have to do it with a ton of gore. I used to do the gory movies, but I guess I got too old. lol This new bug movie looks to be awesome. This poster caught my attention first.

At first glance it hit me that it was Ashley Judd. I can't miss a movie with Ashley Judd in it. She's the ultimate! Then you read the stars across the top and not only is she in it, but Harry Connick Jr.! Yee-freakin-haw! Love to look at him on the screen. lol So of course the poster got my immediate attention and I had to go to the bug movie site and see more. The director also did The Exorcist, so you know they are going to creep us out. I just hope they don't jump out at me a lot. It drives me crazy to be jumping in my seat all the time.

Once at the bug movie website I watched the trailer and now I really can't wait to go see it on the 25th. There is just something about bad things happening in everday lives that is creepy in a movie. Although bugs under the skin are going to definitely require some hands over the eyes at the theater. lol That's so disgusting.

Now the big decision is going to be, will hubby go to watch it with me or do I need to call a friend?

Ahh, Mother's Day

Happy Mother's Day to all the rest of you motha's out there.

We've had a day of nothing. WOOHOO Got up late, ran out for coffee's while my daughter was making us all breakfast. French toast, scrambled eggs and fresh fruit. Boy, she's amazing. :) Then opened presents. Big card from son with flowers in it that have different coupons written on them. I already used the free car wash. lol I even got a detailing out of the deal! Daughter made me a beautiful cutting board in woodshop. I've got to get a pic of it, cause the different woods she used are awesome.

I vowed that from now on there will be no more store bought mother and father's day gifts. I don't want them to get to my age and feel that they need to buy me stuff. I just want a nice meal with the four of us. No presents are even necessary in my opinion.

So it's a grilled salmon dinner tonight. I've caught up on survivor and Lost already. I took a nap, with no guilt I might add. Tonight is season finale of survivor and early bed. Restful day and much needed.

Detox with a Life Change

As some of you regulars should know, I am a personal fitness trainer by day. I put in many hours a week, EVERY day, yes 7 days a week, with my clients working on getting them to change their lifestyle. I only have the control of an hour to do this in.

When I found the link to Stonehawk I was beyond impressed. A rehab center that is geared around getting the toxins out of the body naturally and that wanted to use fitness and diet in that process? WOW, sign me up to teach classes.

I come from a long line of people that have killed themselves with drugs and alcohol. I also have quite a line of those that are killing themselves with food. I put them in a similiar catagory, though not as easily tragic as the drugs and alcohol of course.

If you are in need of drug detox please call and check out this natural approach. Yes, I am from Washington state, but I don't hug trees. Neither do I expect others to hug trees. lol But a natural approach to change will be much better on your system. Mix the mental with the physical. If you are in need of clicking the link, you understand how much you need both.

I encourage you to check out Stone Hawkdrug detox center. Please call 1-888-227-9193, download an info pack, or just start by reading some of the articles on the site. Whatever you feel comfortable with.

If you are in a transition period, please do email me to chat. littlescrapbookshop@gmail.com. Put "I'm a blogger" in the subject line so I don't delete it. ;) I'm not certified to help you with these hard issues, but I am here to listen while you make your major decision towards help.

Did I mention how beautiful this place is? It looks straight out of 28 days. Anyone else in love with Viggo Mortensen? Well if he can break it, so can you.

Honestly though, if you feel that this is something that you may need, then please do contact them. They have many ways to get ahold of them with the toll-free 1-888-227-9193, the contact form on the site or the downloadable info. Please do give them a chat if you think you "may" have a problem. It's much better safe than sorry baby!

Fireman Graduation

Well 10 weeks is done for hubby. The first 3 weeks went by so slowly. But the last 7 have gone by much quicker. Absence did make the heart grow fonder in my case. I love him dearly already, but man did I treasure the time we had together on the weekends. Which wasn't that much since he spent a lot of it studying.

Which I'm glad he did. He bumped up to graduating #6 out of 34 as of the last test. There is still one test not graded (no worries he about him passing it) and I'm not sure if it counts towards their placement in the class or not. This was the man that told everyone he would need a ton of help on the book work. He lacks confidence and sometimes it pisses me off.

I know this is why we are soul-mates for lack of an uncheesy term. We honestly do complete each other. I'm a bitch and he's mellow. He is underconfident and I have an abundance of it. lol I tend to get fired up immediately about things and he can sit back and analyze it with less emotion. That last one may be a female/male thing, not sure. :) All I know is it made me laugh thinking about it today after I knew he had completed the last of the tests. I realized that I had done this same talk while he was away at college. I was still in high school and talking him through it all over the phone.

But I'm incredibly proud of him. I can't wait to get up to the academy with the kids in the morning and meet all of these people I've heard about for the last 10 weeks. Especially all of the Capt.'s that have really inspired him to work even harder.

We were going to go to vegas and that would be our anniversary trip and also his graduation present. But then we decided better of it. Of course by this time it is way too late to be getting anything that has actual meaning for his gift. ARGH! Dawned on my Monday that I had nothing to give him at all and that didn't sit well. So I decided to hit the store I bought his Vanmark Fire Dept. figurines this morning in hope that that was where I actually bought them last time. It sure was the place, but they haven't carried them in 2 years at least and had no idea where else might. She didn't think they were even made anymore. AHHHH, not cool. So I went to hallmark and racked my brain for where I'd seen them before. I really hate to have to leave our hill. The other hill is so damn busy.

Hallmark had the name of another store to give a call and that would have been my next hit. But for somereason it dawned on me that I had seen them at a little jewelry store when I took my neighbor there a couple of times. Sure enough, not only did they have 1 of the figurines. But it is the one I REALLY wanted. Unseen Guardian has been out for quite some time now. At least 3 or 4 years. That is about how long ago it was I bought the other figures. lol So I was happy to see it was the one that I knew hubby liked. Now the price on that site is only half of what I paid for. Let me remind you that these are collectibles and are numbered. So the numbers are quite high now over the years. I bought 1/0001. Yep, close to tears. It's 1/0001. How is that for significance for his graduation? Solidifies my ideal that if it's meant to be, it's meant to be. How else could 1/0001 be here in the small jewelers in Bonney Lake? Oh, while I was there, I did put my wish list in for rings. bahahaha Read above, I told you I was a bitch.

K, this post got super long, sorry about that. I'll post more tomorrow night after meeting everyone. He was supposed to call me tonight after they got back, but no surprise he didn't. Only 14 more hours until I get to see him again and then another 24 until he's home for good. YIPPEEE, let life begin anew!

Please remind me to go to this post when his work schedule is driving me crazy and he's in my space.

Zune revisited

K, I'm gonna revisit Zune . I have one client that her husband has the zune. So she took borrowed it, so we could visit the "community" on the damn thing! I thought if we went to see if each of us were online, then we could freely pass whatever songs between each other. Well not quite. You can pass it all. But one person has to decide what songs they want to "send". Hard to do on treadmill. lmao]

Then I read, and yes hubby already told me this. SO WHAT!!? That not only can you only share for 3 days, but it's only 3 listens as well. WTF? That's really not worth the work unless it's some new band that no one has heard. lmao So now it will be the battle of the new bands. :) Joy and I are up for it. We are competive that way. It's her hubby's zune and she has said his music is closer to mine. Yeah, yada yada. I'm used to mostly guys listeneing to my music. Whateva!

And it sounds like I hate the Zune but I love it! I'm so glad that I have the zune and not the lame ass Ipod Nano that hubby has. I'm just ticked that I spent $20 on music choices right before he bought me it for our anniversary.

But I do know that he can buy. This is the best thing on the market. I can listen to my favorite morning and evening radio teams. WWW.KISW.COM, yes check them out online cause they are worth it. I promise, you will laugh your ass off. But I can also listen to my music the other times that I don't like the dj's as much. lol Which is not easy, as all the dj's are awesome. Believe me, we have partied with them. lmao JOLENE is hot! Check her out.

So check out the Zune. I am going to join the monthly subscription, just because I listen so long to the stuff. I figure I can keep a good update going on new music.
Listen often to get new music. I'll be all over it. Combine myspace with Zune and I'll have the latest incredible music.

Woohoo, partners rock

K, let's start off by saying amen to partnerships that happen by karma. I know my current partner and I would be in business, but I didn't know how it would be. We are in sinc. I love her to death and she even went to school out here on the west coast. She needs to move back here, but we just need to move hubby's job here too. Then it will be all good. lmao

I am unable to come up with any good ideas for the biz right now. But we usually do our best thinking right now. The site is www.momchats.com. Free chat rooms for anything that has to do with Mom's. So if you there are online parties, seminars, or workshops that you'd like to do for Mom's. We'd love to send out your schedule to our 300+ subscribers. ;) Our newsletter goes out weekly telling everyone what is happening.

So schedule your event. Your hostess party, fundraiser, online workshop or weekend event and get free advertising to 300+ subscribers every week.

We are in a low right now and I would love to see this free site used more!

Single

I've never been single. I don't do well single for very long. Yes, I hit the huge anniversary of being with my hubby 1/2 of my life, but it is so much more than that.

Just a disclaimer: I am not wishing things were different, they are what they happily are. But sometimes it is difficult that I haven't experienced things.

I have never lived alone. I went from living with my parents to living with hubby. I go back and forth now that I can have all of them away at the same time. Mostly guilt comes in and I don't get any sleep.

Loneliness sucks. I've never had the physical loneliness. I have had many a lonely night, but not from being alone too long. Just from shutting myself off emotionally.

Well I was ready to type more. But I am up alone at 3am and this is exactly what I'm talking about. I miss my HUBBY!!! 1 1/2 more weeks and we can get into a more normal groove. It's spring break and the kids went to their friends house. I am up to get my hair done early tomorrow. So off to bed for me!

Hmm, what city?

I'm proud to have gotten this rating on the first time through. I figured I'd get Seattle right off the bat. But maybe that wasn't one of the options. lol

You Are Las Vegas

Wild and uninhibited, you enjoy all of life's vices.
You're a total hedonist, especially with sex, gambling, and drinking.
You shine brightly every night, but you do the ultimate walk of shame each morning.

Famous Las Vegas residents: Wayne Newton, Howard Hughes, Penn & Teller, Siegfried & Roy

Rock girl gala

Well I am going to miss this years gala. I'm super, uper bummed about it. But alas, it can't be helped. Hubby and I haven't gotten away together in over 2 years now because of our schooling and we have to do it. Of course, once we plan our weekend, www.kisw.com plans the rock girl gala. FUCKERS!

Then, to make matters worse, they bring in Puddle of Mud as the headliner. Hmm, is it worth the argument? Hmm, is it worth me replanning and fighting? May be. That was one of the first cd's the kids bought me for a gift and they aren't very old. lmao They were really young when they told Daddy that I wanted that cd. lol They are such good kids!

So I will miss the gala. Yes, I will. It will be ok. I will pout on here and I will seriously bitch after I have to hear about it from the dj's. But alas. I am running away for a naked weekend with my hubby. Nothing but shopping and wine tasting. I just want the best of both worlds. But I'll pick him anyday. ;)

Fell of the blog universe

Yet again! It's amazing how that happens. I can go for weeks on end of posts every day or every other, then there comes a time I'm barely able to get on here. I hate that! I'd be happy posting every day. But life is good busy. The only downfall is that I need a laptop in a super bad way. SO if you have recommendations, please let me know. I applied for a biz load through dell and that was a joke. Umm, no thanks on the 29% interest rate. I know my biz has no credit, but come on! It's been in biz for 4 years now, that should count for something.

But anyway on to the topic of laptops. I have to have one immediately. I am getting busier at work and that is awesome. Unfortunately that doesn't leave me much time to get on here when I get home. Especially since my herbalist has told me I need to sleep. WHAT? 5 hours a night isn't enough? What is she thinking? So I feel better because I'm getting sleep, but I'm not getting enough done. Laptop will let me get it done in between clients at work. ;)

So what else is happening in my life? Hubby has only 2 weeks left of school. Man, that never seemed like it would end. I'm super excited for him. But now he will be home so much more. AHHHHH, worse than the kids! See, I must have a laptop so I can hide at work.

This week is spring break, but I still have a lot to catch up on. SO hopefully I can get it all done. I really need to spend more time at the gym to get a few more clients. But I also hate to take advantage of my Mom for the week. Stupid guilt!

new ozzfest rumor

Well here's the latest scoop I heard today. I really need to go subscribe to the site. Or even visit the damn site. lmao

But the news just gets better and better. Despite our rain, you really should live in Seattle. We get great music stuff here. Lot's of bands come around and play the little clubs. But I'm digressing.

So here's the newest scoop for you all to be jealous of. Not only is it opening here, less than 12 miles from my HOUSE! But a second show will be over at the Gorge on Sat. night!!! HOLY CRAP! July 14th at the Gorge? That's gonna be freakin amazing. Now I'm not sure which show to get to. We've got to stay the night if we head to the Gorge. So guess I better start working on people that own campers to go with us.

WOW, it's gonna be an awesome concert summer. I can tell!

EDITED: Well it's not a rumor. I just went to the site and it's official. The first 2 dates are up here in WA. Now we just need to find out when the damn tickets will be out and how in the world we are going to get them. :)

Zune!!!

This is the best toy ever made! Hubby gave it to me this weekend. It's supposed to be for our anniversary next month, but I guess he wants his ipod back. Believe me, he won't ever have to worry about me stealing it again. Ipod's completely suck compared to the zune. lmao And I've only been playing with it for a day, so have no idea what other cool stuff I can do.

The video is super clear. I'm looking forward to getting some missed shows or just some cooler vids on it. Then the option of having radio is killer. Especially since I can pause the freakin' radio! Our tv's at the gym can be heard through fm stations and it was awesome to hear it and not have to read the subtitles today. lol It's not cool to watch Days of our lives and decipher what the typos are.

Now I just have to figure out how to get the music I just bought for the ipod switched into my zune's account. That may take me some time as I have no time to mess with it in the near future. I shouldn't have been playing with all of it for hours yesterday as it was. lol Or I'll just go in and buy some new stuff while I'm waiting. The songs are only $.79 instead of $.99 like on itunes! YIPPEEE!

Man, I'm gonna end up playing on here with it again tonight. I can tell. Nothing is going to get done this week. lmao

OzzFest baby

Alright, it better be fucking official soon! This afternoon I caught a quick trailer commercial that not only do they have dates (not official) but those "dates" changed and they are no longer going to start out in CA like planned.

But they will kick off right here in mother-fuckin-washington!!! OMG, if that happens it will easily be the best concert ever. To kick off the whole damn concert series! Are you kidding me! And this year it is free! ARE YOU KIDDING ME! You better believe I've already booked the tentative date off my calendar and the friday after. roflmao Umm, Mom, you can watch the kids right?

Good grief I need to get to a concert soon. I'm dieing. Daughter and I are going to see my favorite Gwennie on June 16th. That is going to be incredible. There are never Sat. or Fri. night concerts here anymore. So I'm gonna get us a hotel room and we are going to party all night. My good friend and her daughter (our daughters are good friends) are going with us. But I'm getting a room for just the two of us. We are going to do this right. BTW, the concert is like 14 miles away. lmao But it's the experience man, not the point that the hotel is farther away than our house. Don't bring me down!

Positive things in life

After that last post I needed to come in and post some good things.

Hubby got a 95 on his last test. That makes a 93/95/95. Pretty damn good!!!

I am taking over a site that I'm totally psyched about! www.scrapfacts.com

I have been working out again regularly.

My clients are awesome!

My kids have been fun to hang out with!

My daughter got a new dwarf hamster. I'll have to post pics of it. Plus she didn't have quite enough money and had to owe me. So I got my floors done and their bathroom cleaned with NO ISSUES!

I bought my turtle a new cage that is huge. She is a happy Yurtle the turtle.

I took my chubby doggy jogging today and she was great on the leash.

Oh did i mention we had record highs today? lol Boy I wish I'd been up on the mountain boarding. No better way to get a sunburn around here.

Raining and pouring around me

And I'm not talking about the Seattle weather as it was record high's here and almost 70. But don't worry, cause there is no global warming. God damned stupid oil tycoons! Hmm, make a few more hybrids so we can buy American please.

K, got off topic, but that's cause I don't like the topic. No sooner than my friend Anita works on recovering from her lung surgery. But I just got an email from my friend and her husband is going in for open heart surgery in the morning. Surprise! That is how much notice they got. OMG, she says she loves his family and will be surrounded by them tomorrow. So I don't need to cancel everything and head over. But I told her she better call me as soon as she needs me.

I was going to call her in the morning since it is 11:30 here. But I couldn't wait. Yes, I let it ring like 5 or 6 times. I suck, but I knew she wouldn't be sleeping since she just sent out the email a little while ago.

He is only 47, not a heavy drinker, doesn't smoke, no family history. WOW! What does that say for me? I have lot's of family history. :( My grandpa died of heart disease at only 35 or 37.

Oh my word, tomorrow is going to SUCK!!!! I hate waiting for news. :(

The Magic of Nature

Yes, I do believe in miracles. Hence the reason the last post bothers me so much. I don't believe in coincidence. No sooner had I sent that post off then I decided to check outside and see if it was still snowing.

Yes, I said still snowing. In almost March, in the Seattle area. Hmm, think there might be something to this global warming bullshit you keep hearing about? Yeah, just a little climate change going on in the last few years. ;)

Anyway, it stopped snowing and that bummed me out. I love the late night snow. It's like a secret around here. I'm a night owl, or vampire (whatever you want to classify me as LOL )and there are many mornings I wake up and no one knows that it even snowed. Tonight was gorgeous. Huge flakes were coming down and it was coming down fast. We got about 1/2 inch in under an hour. That's quick for here since the ground was wet with rain. lmao

So, bummed I was that it stopped. I decided to double check and opened the front door. Yep, it really had stopped. No snow day with the kids tomorrow :( How bad am I getting that I really want that? Pitiful I tell ya! But as I have the door open I''m hearing a really odd noise. It's a big crackling type noise. Listen for a few minutes. Man it's cold. DING, DING, lightbulb. The noise is the world around me freezing. WOWOWOWOW, it was truly incredible. I am in awe of nature and immediately out of my funk from the last post. How can I compete with that?

Good intentions

Umm, shall we talk about what good intentions get me? Nada, zip, kicked in the ass? Betcha can't tell how today went. It was mostly crap. I tried not to focus on all the negatives, but when you just keep screwing up it's hard not to. lmao The funny thing is the appointments I screwed up on weren't scheduled on the same day, so how did I end up with all 3 of my appointments being messed up in one day? Only I could do it I guess.

One of them is a bad mix-up. I've only messed up 2 appointments ever. Guess who they were? Yep, both the same person and both in the last 2 1/2 weeks. I was working 50 hour + weeks for 5 months and never messed up an appointment. Today tells me that I have some issues I need to deal with and fast! My head is not in the game.

On a very positive note...I put up the first flyers for my relay for life team and got 2 girls to join immediately! That is awesome! I want to kick some serious fundraising butt on this. Nope, I'm not competitive in the least, what made you think that? If you'd like to donate to my team and personal cause of the American Cancer Society then please check back for the link. I will include it here as soon as my god damned hosting stops having problems!!! rassin' frassin' damned stuff I can't control!

So here I am online again at 12:40 when I swore I was going to bed at 10:30. What does this mean for tomorrow? A nap in the afternoon. :( I'd much rather be up and working then, but I am not even close to tired right now. I have some major bad habits to get rid of.

On a happy note, I should be able to change over to wordpress soon. That is part of the damned hosting issues right now. For some reason it hates my domain names and won't load them. I've been using this company for almost 2 years now without any problems that I didn't create for myself out of stupidity. Now all of the sudden I can't do anything with 2 accounts and there is no rhyme or reason to it.

Please send positive energy my way. I'm trying to stay positive, but the negative energy is pulling me under fast!

Transitioning again

Well hopefully this will be the last switch from blogger. I made the move to wordpress before, but I had a complete moron moment and deleted mysql for it one night. I didn't email them fast enough and there was no restoring it. :( I miss WP. I have my own hosting account for this blog now and will move it over as soon as I find a template cool enough. I'm bummed that I can't take this template with me. I may be able to. Oh Retta! Want to give WP a try with this theme? lmao

So I'm off to upload a template. You'd think by now I'd have one picked out. I have a ton bookmarked. Oh another problem is that I can't just transfer the blogger posts to WP yet. Since blogger did the updates, the transfer script won't work. RATS! This is supposed to be easy for goodness sakes. Just waiting around for the techies to catch up. lmao K, not making fun of them as I have no idea where to start to make that happen.

Hubby will be home from studying soon, so not sure I will get the WP up tonight. I grabbed Babel and want to watch it tonight. Then again, that may be to serious for us to watch. I'm really wishing I'd grabbed something stupid. Well we can always fall back on the many classics we have here. Strange Brew, Funny Farm, Night at the Roxbury. You know, the no brainer movies ;)

Enough sleep?

Well of course I don't get enough sleep. But some how I managed to score higher than Retta on this little quiz. She must get more sleep during the day is why. Cause I know we are up talking most of the night and since she's east coast that means she's up later than I. lmao

You Don't Get Enough Sleep

You definitely don't get enough sleep, and it's turning you into a mental zombie!
You need to get more sleep, starting tonight if possible.
Avoid caffeine, keep a regular bedtime, don't watch TV before bed, and sleep in complete darkness.

Don't have caffeine! WHO THE HELL MADE UP THIS STUPID QUIZ? Lame-o's Regular bedtime? What is regular? You want me to be regular? How boring. Nope, I stay a zombie thank you. Although I prefer to be called a vampire. Much cooler clothes. :)

Online friends

Having online friends can suck sometimes in a very big way. Take today for example. I have a good friend that went in for surgery at 10am (hopefully went in on time). It is a major surgery. They found a mass on her lung. Everything is supposed to be routine and even "if" it's cancerous they shouldn't even need to do chemo for it. Just remove the 3rd lobe and all is good. It didn't show any signs of having spread. Of course that is before they get in there.

Now a local friend I would probably be watching their kids for them, or I would at least have the option of going over and helping out while they are home recovering. But since it's across country from me I just feel so useless! All I can do is sit here and worry.

She has a lot of things going for her, but she also has some not good health issues. She is only 29 for cryin' out loud. You're not supposed to be sick so young. She did already quite smoking this year before they even found the mass. So 3 cheers for not having withdrawals and surgery to recover from! Good job girl!

I know my Grandpa had a whole lung removed and that was ages ago, so medicine has gotten so much better since then. But I just can't stand this waiting helplessly. Thankfully I have sporadic appointments to keep me busy. They are also letting me check in online to see if another friend has heard from her hubby yet. You know, the email tree? lmao

I know I will hear some news in a few hours and I know she is going to be just fine. She has a lot of positive energy behind her. But I just feel like a mommy today and I'm so worried. If I had someone to watch the kids, I'd so hop a plane right now!

Long week ahead

The kids are out for mid-winter break. I love that cause we don't have to get up early. But it's going to be rough for scheduling. I think we've got it under control and thankfully my Mom is available so I don't have to pay a sitter for the entire week.

I can just feel that it is going to drag on. I am so worn out. I know I've been staying up way too late for too long. But still, come on! It's not the staying up late so much as the getting up early a couple of times a week that is killing me. I guess I need to get to bed earlier than 2am if I'm getting up at 6. Who'd have thunk it?

I've been working my ass off on my sites. I got www.busymommawellness.com completely transferred over to the new template and have banners and buttons being created right now. This week is going to be all about www.littlescrapbookshop.com I had that redesigned last year and am still in love with the paisley. This to has some banners and buttons that were just created. But I need to get a bunch of new articles on there, links exchanged, and many more products added to the store.

I really wanted to work on one of the 2 other sites, but if I'm going to have her build me new templates it would be stupid to work on them right now. I'll wait and put the effort into my current moneymakers instead. There's more than enough on them to keep me busy.

Hubby has made it through his first week of the fire academy and starts week 2 tomorrow. I miss him bad and I think it was even worse having him home for a few days and then shipping him back off. Again, it's going to be a long week. :(

We did make it up boarding yesterday and the kids and I had a great time. The sun even came out for a little while which was so cool. It's so beautiful up there. But then the temps dropped dramatically and daughter took a good tumble. I just can't be in two places at once so we had to head out a little early. I'd only bought a bunny hill pass anyway, so we'd gotten our money out of the day. We want to try to get up again this week, but I have appointments, so I don't see how it will be possible. We'll just have to wait and see.

Went to the movies

We never go to the movies. I mean never! Maybe once a year if we are lucky. It's so hard to justify $50 in food and tickets to go to a matinee for goodness sake. Especially when I spend $30 a month for video rentals and we have a big screen. lmao But ever since I saw the preview for Ghost Rider I knew I had to go. So we went out today with the kids and saw it. Hubby needed a school work break anyway.

It is a great action flick. They did a great job of making us jump in our seats with the special effects. lmao I hate when stuff jumps out at me. :( Nicolas Cage does a good job playing Johnny Blaze aka Ghost Rider. And of course I always melt for Sam Elliot. That mans voice just gives me shivers. And he plays an old cowboy to boot. Ahhh, gotta love that!

Kids and I are off to snowboard tomorrow. It promises to be another fun day with them. I hope the rest of mid-winter break goes as smoothly. I'm so looking forward to not having to wake up early! Summer is going to be bliss!

Giving up on productivity today

Good grief, I'm doomed. I'm gonna get my pages done and just be super happy if I do anything else today. I had one cancellation today which turned out to be good cause son's awards assembly went long. Then I forgot that daughter has an after school thing, so of course the youngest can't come home to an empty house and sit on the front porch. lmao So rescheduled an appointment for tomorrow instead. I only have one appointment left tonight and I need to double check that she knows it's Valentine's day. lolol

So I came home to work on my site of course and get the damn thing done. I grabbed season 6 of Sex in the City a couple of days ago from the video store and popped that in to listen to. I've watched them so many times I can just listen now. lol But I don't know which season is which and made a horrible mistake. I'm PMSing and grabbed the damn episode where Miranda is getting married and Samantha finds out she has breast cancer. SHIT! Hope my eyes don't end up too red from the bawling. DANG, dang, dang. Can't turn it off either must watch.

Ideas, ideas, focus

Wow, I've been trying to focus and when I have it has worked wonders! But then I write up a to-do list that started out as only for today and it was a mile long. lmao I have so many ideas running through my head again. I seriously need to build these websites and then sell them. They will make money, but I don't have time to keep them up. ARGHHH, how come there is only 24 hours in a day?

I did hang out at work today a little more than I have recently and that is always good. I'll be getting free tanning asap. This is always good as I'm starting to look pasty. I should put up my newest pic, but most would say I'm not pasty so what good would it do. Yes, I was blessed with my Mother's Native American coloring, but I'm still pasty for ME! So back offffffffff :) I need my sunshine, fake or not. I live in the Seattle area for crying out loud. The grayest damn place in the country. Give me a break here. Skin cancer is not our usual concern.

See, even this post is all over the place. This is me off drugs. Hmm, k don't know what me on drugs is. Only time I took any was after my wisdom teeth and I really didn't like the lack of control I had on them. Kind of led me to believe I have control issues. lmao But this is definitely what I'd be like on drugs. ALL OVER THE PLACE!

Where did I even start with this post? Oh yeah, focus! I have almost completed the switch over to the new template for www.busymommawellness.com and it feels great. I just put it into smaller goals and have gotten it done faster than I thought.

Work has been super cool. I had a great session with a lady today that is going to do some wonderful weight loss and I can't wait to be a part of it.

K, this is just too random. I can't take anymore of myself. Till tomorrow!

Hot Blog Theme

You know you are jealous of my blog theme. The same Retta from my superstah saturday post made this template and I had to have it. She didn't want to, but I made her. Funny how you get sick of hearing the IM sound over and over again. tee-hee-hee

All those in favor of Retta making and selling themes for your blogger, give her a shout out! She needs to hear from everyone about how cool her abilities are:)

I really wish I had any graphics ability. Alas, I even had to have her put the damn template in for me cause I trucked it up hard. lmao In my defense, it is 1am and my eyes are crossing. Not really a good time to be messing with code!

Supahstar Saturday

Yes, I know it's not Saturday anymore, but go check out the site and you'll see why it's so named. Not only is that the coolest damn graphic, but they have chosen a good friend of mine to be the first to be blogged about! OH and to top it off she made the really cool graphic.

Retta and I have known each other for years through a message boards, but have only really been harrassing each other for the past year. lol We are on total opposite sides of the country, but yet she's still always online when I am, late at night. Can you say ADDICT? Geesh, she's worse than I am.

It's awesome to have her there to bounce ideas off of all times of the day and night. Nothing better than having the person that you know you can trust to tell you the truth if you are being a dork. :)

So go check out the Thoughts Out of my Head and see why she and I get along so well. She's an avid cross stitcher (wish I still had time for that) and has her own site dedicated to the cross stitcher! Including free patterns.

The Doll Palace

A friend turned me onto this site and my daughter and I have loved playing there ever since. I know my daughter can spend hours on it making new dolls and sending them to her friends. lol It's awesome to know that she's safe making the dolls with no bad things to click on.

Now there are even games that can be played on it. So even more time wasted online. lmao But they are so darn cute and easy to make!

I mainly add them as avatars on message boards and forums. It's fun to create new one's for the holiday or season. Plus it doesn't take long so I can change them quickly.

This one is one of my favorites since I am the Queen of all I oversee. How cool would it be to have a big red velvet robe? Ok, maybe that is why I like to play DressUp Games. I can pretend they are may clothes.

If you haven't visited forums before you can hang out on the doll palace Message boards and post what you have created. Don't forget to use the special codes for your myspace and IM's. I use myspace for many of my just for fun items. Such as the dolls. lol I can change my theme to match my doll of the moment. ;)

IT'S MY BDAY!!!

K, I'm not afraid to toot my own horn. It's my mother fucking birthday!!! yeah mon!

We are watching tacky 80's movies. I'm chatting online with a good friend and the dog is driving me nuts. It's another super night here in WAHM addict heaven.

Today is the day that the Bears kick the colt's ass. SO it's a marvelous day! DA BEARS!

I am up way too late. But hubby has promised to let me sleep in. Plus one kid is at a friends house overnight. And he promised to wake another friend up to go jogging in the morning. tee-hee It won't be me and that is all that matters. They will go jogging at the high school. So they can go around 10. Like I can actually sleep in that late. P-SHA won't happen.

Soaps

I have been watching Soap Operas for over 20 years now. It's not that I'm old, it's just that I would sneak in and watch while my Mom was in rest time growing up. lol

I grew up with Bo and Hope growing up also. Let alone they now have kids. :) Then there is Passions with the witches. I know I am stuck on NBC, but I can't help it, I have issues!

I'm not totaly stuck. I know that The Young and The Restless is another classic. I have hit that one for over 20 years, so I guess that is in my schedule. lol Young and the restless has been on forever and it is no wonder why. When they have characters that work, they are on there forever. I guess Days is trying to take lessons by bringing people back. But you know that Victor is on there no matter what! So there will be drama with the money man.

When you can't catch up on your favorite soaps check out Soap Operas and see quickly what is going on. I have less time to watch, so I love to go in and see what my favorite characters are up to. ;)

Breakfast Club

I love my 80's movie's! Comedy Central is playing The Breakfast Club. I LOVE THIS SHOW!!! I need to order all of the 80's movies. Some Kind of wonderful, the works.

My youngest can't believe that Mike D is married to Molly Ringwald. lmao She must not be a big dork like on the show, come on, would he partake?

It's time for me to buy up all the good old movies and start a collection. Instead of the good newer old movies I've been collecting!

Days of our Lives

K, I'll admit it. I've been addicted to this soap since the 80's when my Mom was watching and said I could. The Summer she said yes was when they crash landed on an island. It was Marleena and there was a dwarf involved. If you watched back then, you can picture exactly who I'm talking about.

K, that was when I was a baby. Then there was hurrying home from school and the wonderful summers off. Not to mention the summers! That was when all the good stuff happened with the kids my age!

Now I'm watching it and feeling older by the minute. Everyone is back. Jennifer is on of course and Jack keeps coming into her life and dieing again. :( Then there is the ever hot couple, Bo and Hope. We have the Marleena, John Black, and Roman Brady.

I can't watch everyday, but I try hard. When I can't get to the tv, I check out Days of our Lives updates to see what happened! I am feeling old now that Patch and Kayla are back on. If Caliaopy (sp?) would come back on, I swear they would have everyone. I'm also super happy that Frankie is back. I loved Frankie and Jennifer. It was hard to go through the decision of who she should fall for when Jack thought he was going to die. What a jerk for putting her in that position! lmao

So if you need updates of your favorite days episodes check out Days of our Lives updates.

Planning a party

When do I have time to plan and hold a kids party? Oh man, I love having them cause the kids get so excited, but it's so much work! We've decided to go with next Sat. and he has chosen a rock-n-roll theme.

It will be a slumber party again, but not so many kids this time. I've already warned him to start cleaning his room. lol It's a wreck. Who the hell has bought him all of these toys? He doesn't even play with them anymore. Ok, he actually does. But normally he's glued to the playstation or doing homework.

I can't wait to see what I get for my bday tomorrow! I have no idea what they got me!

Hilarious ecards

I get so many of the angel, girlie, send this on for good luck cruddy emails. Bleck! No more of them cutesy things, please. When I'm looking for a card to put with a present I'm looking to make them smile. Crack a joke, be inapproprate! I've never liked sending ecards for that reason. They are all so serious, or cute, or whatever, but they are LAME!

Now bring egreetings into the picture.

Egreetings put the fun back into sending cards. It also let's me do it with my favorite medium. Duh, my computer of course. You know, the thing I'm addicted to? lol Now I can harrass my friends as much as I want with goofy ecards in their inboxes. I pay only $13.99 for a full years subscription.

Even better is the fact that I can go through the cards, come across the perfect card for someone, and set it up to send later. No having to go back and try to remember which card to which person. Good grief, who has time for that. And the kids have taken all my memory already so I won't remember to go back on the correct day. lol

There are many special occasions and many genre's for each occasion, such as for her or him. Of course you can personalize the cards and even put pictures in them. This is saving me so much time, not to mention all the money those paper cards cost me! Then include stamps on top of it? Forget it, I'll stick with the $13.99 a year thank you very much. If you want to just give it a try there is a 30 day trial. You can send unlimited ecards with the free trial as well. ;)

It's difficult to figure out just one card to send to my hubby at a time. lol There are so many funny one's that I know would make him laugh. That's the whole point right? Life is serious enough!

birthday eCard by "The Chins"

Now you can't tell me there isn't someone in your email list that needs that card for their next birthday! Go check it out now and set it up ahead of time. No fuss, no forgetting!

Wasted today

We stayed up way too late last night and then I had to get up at 4am to train a client. Good grief it's going to be difficult to stay up tonight. lol Luckily my last appointment is a free one to show around the gym. Yes, this is how I get my new clients, but I also don't have to come up with any motivation. I just have to show them around and answer any questions. Even in my sleep I can talk and laugh up a storm. lmao

So only 2 days left til my bday. I'm going to start the birthday weekend off tonight though. Since youngest and my bdays are a day apart I think we deserve to celebrate all weekend! So tonight I'll toast to us. Tomorrow I was thinking appletini's sound good, and then bday (superbowl!) hubby just bought me my fav beer Widmer Heff. Alright, just called hubby and we are officially celebrating all weekend. He's buying crab for dinner tonight. Not sure about tomorrow. Then superbowl is going to be bbq burgers and lots of snack foods. I've found a bunch of yummy sounding snack stuff that isn't all the bad for you. So I won't even have to have the guilt.

I grabbed some movies and hopefully we will be able to watch them. Of course if I don't get off of here and take a nap soon it won't happen at all. I'll be a party pooper asleep on the couch. lol I grabbed the first season of the Soprano's cause everyone raves about it. Every time I go to the movie store I forget to grab it.

Oh I forgot to mention instead of having a cake on my bday, since the youngest really has to have a cake so he can blow out the candles. I don't want 2 leftover cakes sitting on my counter talking to my gut. Anyway, I decided that we are going to have build your own sundaes for my bday. This way I can do low fat ice cream, non-fat herseys, then load it with some good caramel or whatever I want. Oh and maraschino cherries of course. Less fat than a cake, less guilt than a cake, and I'll forget about the leftovers in the freezer. I always do anymore. Don't you wish you could come to my party?

guess I got lost

I didn't realize how long it's been since I posted. Work has been great. I have 5 clients now and it's kind of spread out throughout the day, so it breaks it up quit a bit. I just need another couple of clients to put in between.

I got my new template for www.busymommawellness.com and started working on that yesterday. I'll work a bunch on it today and tomorrow.

My family is out of town this weekend and I haven't been as productive as I'd hoped. My scrapbook stuff got brought out last night, but I still didn't work on it. I have to get a few pages done before they get home. lol I only have 3 appointments today, so can work on it in between. And tomorrow I only have an appointment at 3 so I can stay up late tonight working on it.

I also have saw 3 to watch. I chickened out watching it last night cause it got too dark. lmao There's no one here to turn off the lights when I go to bed.

Da BEARS!

WOOHOO! Bears are going to the superbowl! Then to top it off...Prince is singing at halftime! Did I mention that the superbowl is on my bday this year? Fuckin' A RIGHT baby! I'm in heaven!

I've decided that we are having a crab fest for the event. I haven't decided who all will be invited to come over, but I do know they will be required to bring bottles of crown with them ;). The superbowl is usually late now and I don't want everyone here all evening. lol Hubby will have to go to work for the second day on that Monday and the kids will have school in the morning.

Did I mention that Urlacher is going to the SUPERBOWL BABY! Now that's hot!!! Can't wait to see him with a ring on.

Another freakin' snow day!

Ummm, I'm pretty sure someone keeps talking about global warming. You sure haven't been able to see it here. Yes, we had a gorgeous long Summer. But we have had more snow days this year than any year ever. I've lived here all my life and the most snow days we've ever had were like 3. Usually 2 is a heavy snow year. lol With the 2 weeks off for break in Dec. we haven't had a full week of school since the beginning of Dec.

Have no idea why it's canceled. Pissed me off cause they waited until 8:55 to cancel it. I'm pretty sure that the 2 hours late start would have been just fine. We are now going to school on June 27th. This sucks!

Thankfully I work from home and set up my own appointments at the gym. I only had 3 set up for today and 2 of them have rescheduled already. I have to get ahold of the other guy. Even if I can't get ahold of him, hubby will be home by then to watch the kids. I can run out there for an hour appoinment. :) I'd prefer to stay home, but a girls gotta do what a girls gotta do to get paid. bahahahaha

FREAKIN' ICE

K, I have noooo problem driving in the snow and some ice here and there. But yesterday our district made the horrible choice of going to school on time. It was bad, realy, really, really bad! Never driven on so bad. Now we went to college over in Spokane with a beater car and I never had a problem driving. That's how bad it was yesterday.

We have fun sliding around on our road, we are used to that. But then I got onto the main road and it was a complete sheet of ice. It looked like snow was in there, but alas, it was compacted into ice. Some moron was stopped in the middle of the intersection. Brakes of course don't want to work cause of the anti-locks, so can't even pump them a little. Thankfully no one was in the other lane, so off I go to try to change lanes and go around if possible. Oh, guess I won't. Guess the kids and I will go sideways down the road in the suburban. La-la-lala I didn't even have time to panic. Makes me feel good that I didn't, proves I'm a freakin' awesome driver. ;)

Should have turned around then, but figured what the hell, I'm already half way to pick up the other girls. Main hiway was stopped up because of a wreck. Needless to say my friend and I kept the kids home for the day. I can't believe we didn't atleast go 2 hours late like everyone around us.

Today was no school because it is even colder. Doesn't look good for tomorrow either. I've been so unproductive! Not because they are home, but because I'm just off my schedule. lol

Help to all Mom's

I am a member of a couple of recipe services online. This is just one thing to make my life easier. Don't get me wrong, I do like to cook. But there are days I don't want to come up with something on my own and I definitely don't want to make the old standby of tacos again. lol Dine Without Whine Dinner Recipes takes care of that.

Each week you will get a menu with the recipes and a shopping list. How easy is that? These recipes are picked by Mom's to make sure they are kid friendly and approved. :) They also have a free newsletter you can sign up for with a special recipe included.

Check out their free sample preview and see just how easy it is to use.

Busy day

But what can be expected from busy Momma, huh? We actually got up on time this morning so I got my emails out of the way early. Loved that! Went and worked out immediately after dropping the kids off. Double loved that! Home for a shower, then off to the salon. I can't freakin' wait to get my hair done. Full treatment again baby. Highlights, color, cut, the whole damn deal. I've missed my beautiful red highlights. I promise to work on pictures as many people have been waiting for an updated picture of me. roflmao

I am so excited right now I seriously feel like puking. Hopefully it doesn't happen, but the suspense is killing me. As I'm sure I've posted, don't have time to read back and check this minute, hubby has been offered a conditional job. We are just waiting for the background check to go for him and the 4 other guys. We know everyone on his has been contacted and most of the other guys too. Well the Chief called and left a message a few minutes ago. I'm sure it's about the job and I can barely hold my lunch down. Damn it, I just ate and it's sitting in my gut like a lump of crap.

Hubby just called me back to get the number. I threatened him with no forgiveness ever and lots of bodily harm if he doesn't call me right back. lol So now I sit and WAIT. And WAIT. Waiting. Mother FUCKER, I hate waiting like this.

Tonight I am packed with appointments of course. And tomorrow I have 2 more in the evening. So we can't go out and celebrate. I've got to put out lots of prayers tonight. Life is so fucking good right now.

OMG, OMG, OMG, OMG. It's official. He is now a paid fire man. He starts Feb. 1st. I'M so damn proud of him!!! Now I'm going to be a bawling mess all day. lmao

Working today

Hmm, I'm supposed to be. I had too many errands to run and now I'm off. I did make it into work this morning for a few hours and met a few new people, so that is cool. I'm going to go back in later this afternoon and see if I can't get some appointments generated.

So today is supposed to be my newsletter. Guess I will run off and do that immediately!

The kitchen is already a mess and that pisses me off. Here I'm working hard at keeping it clean and there is stuff everywhere. lol I'm sure it'll only take me minutes to tidy it up and a small load of dishes, but still. Then there is the pile of clean clothes that still haven't folded themselves. lmao They'll still be there tonight, so no hurry I guess.

I guess another reason I haven't gotten anything done now that I'm home is that I'm watching The Covenant. lol I haven't gotten to watch movies in quite a while and I really missed it. I'm not going into the gym for very long on Friday, so I think I'll watch some others. There has to be some chick flix that I've missed. BTW, this movie is pretty good. Especially for a movie that is geared towards teens. It's not a waste of time and it's not all gore and no story. Plus there are hot, young guys with their shirts off ;) SO it's all good! Except for the fact that I'm not getting much done with it on! YIKES

Too much shopping!

Like all the money on Christmas shopping wasn't enough, now we are buying up a ton of cleaning and organizing products. We even bought a new vacuum. And I was excited about it dang it! How old and sick am I getting? Excited about a vacuum? K, it's really a pretty purple-blue and it has one of those bins you just untwist and dump the dirt out. It's awesome! It is a great deal at Target and you can use the coupon online for an even better deal. Did I mention I can dump the little canister of dirt and dog hair in the garbage without a plume of dust in my asthmatic face? It's a fact, I've gotten old. :(

I know there is a Target right down the road, but I still shop online instead. I can use online coupons then instead of waiting for what I want to go on sale. If there is a free shipping option it saved me even more because of gas. lol With my suburban, that is a big saver.

Target isn't the only online shop I get coupons for. You can get promotion codes for many stores on the main page. They are all stores I shop frequently with biz and personal, so why not save as much money as possible?

Bloggy New YEAR!

Wow, a completely sober New Year's Eve. I can't even remember the last time that happened on purpose. I mean there was the pregnant year, breast feeding year, then the pregnant year again, then the breast feeding year after that again. I'm sure there was another time in there that I was sick, but can't recall exactly. lol But on purpose to not have a couple. Some serious self-control there. ;)

Alas I am on day 3 of cleaning. We've taken 2 car loads to goodwill and I'm ready to load it back up as soon as he gets home from the gym. We are so boring this weekend. His friends couldn't believe we didn't come over last night, but I didn't want to go anywhere. I'm bound and determined to get this damn house cleaned up. The kitchen is pretty much done now. I need to clean out all the cupboards themselves, but that is just too big a project for me right now. So I'm moving down the hall to the bathroom. I HATE HOUSEWORK! And I seriously hate cleaning bathrooms. My hands feel like sand paper after using chemicals for 3 days. :( Oh well, it will be worth it when I can work on my biz next week with no feelings of guilt.

On a better note, we finally switched the dvd players around so we can watch movies. The one attached to my big screen keeps skipping and stopping. Such a pisser. So hubby switched the bedroom out and we've watched Coneheads this morning. Now my kids have put my Strange Brew in and we are watching that. lolol Good grief I need to walk away and getting cleaning done!

Happy New Year!
