Spamming in full force

Well, boy they are just on it here lately. I've never had the spam problems like I have in the last couple of weeks. You guys are incredible. It must be sad to live in your little worlds, with your little minds, all alone. Good luck with all that and give my best to your online girl/boyfriend.

The bar

I went out last night to meet hubby and his new "bosses" buddies from work. I was looking forward to staying home, but it was necessary to meet everyone. Plus, this way I knew hubby wasn't needing to drive home.

It was a good time. We left early because I set it up that way. Remember I didn't want to go. lol So I set it up that I needed to be home by 9. K, it was 9:45. Anyway, my bitch is this. One of the guys was there and his girlfriend showed up. She's cool, but she made a comment that has me completely pissed and steaming. People ask my age and I have no problem saying 32. It's young, and only a number. But, when I said it, she said she knew I we were young. WTF does that mean? I know I'm not immature, I know I'm not ignorant, I also know that I can hold my own in any freakin' conversation you want to have. So what is meant by that comment? I'm sure I'm being a "girl" and reading way too much into it. But, it just pissed me off. Hopefully by typing it out I will be fine now. lol

Happy Birthday Hubby!

I spoiled him this year. He's only had 1 day off since he started the new job on Sept. 5. I bought him the new Ipod Nano. Only the 2GB, because the 4 has a bazillion mile long waiting list. lol But, he was surprised and happy. Now we just need to figure out how to use it. His brother has most of his cd's ripped onto his computer, so we are going to go over there next weekend.

I'm so happy to be able to say I can go to their house during the day or for dinner. I'm going to love this new freedom of weekends off. Our term gets over on Nov. 11 and then I know I will be able to take the cert. test. That is right in time to start taking holiday clients!!!Woohoo!

K, on to waste my mind and finish watching Medium. I'm so excited it's back on. Now I just need my Boston Legal and I'm set. Tivo gets here in the morning;) Just in time for the finally's of BB6 and INXS.

work no more

Well, not completely, but only 8 hours a week away from home. Yippee! I'm so happy. I have 3 sites now that need attention, plus 2 more in the works. I don't have time to leave the house unless it's for school. I'm so excited about all of this. I've found a renewed energy as I've seen the sites form the way I like them.

School started and the kids seem to like their classes. I think we may have found our groove for homework, but we'll see. We have a field trip to the fair on Wed. and it's the last time I'll get to go for school. My baby is in 2nd grade now and it's the last year they do the fair. :( Just one of the facts of life I guess.

Well off to stare at code for a few hours. I have friends spending the night for each of the kids. Lot's of uninterupted time on the computer. lol

Where's august?

And while I'm asking questions, where in the heck is the first week of Sept.? Anyone, anyone? Bueller?

I've been a very bad blogger. But, I have great excuses. My brain turned to complete mush during my break from school, yah! That was a good thing. The kids and I had fun doing about 1/4 of the things I'd hoped to do this summer. At least we made a family trip out to the ocean. We took the dogs and that was a disaster, but all in all, we had a blast and look forward to doing it again.

My last excuse and the biggest one is work. I told them and told them to hire someone, but no! Why would they do that when we can just schedule you for 6 days a week. HELLO! Only one with kids that works here and I'm taking 16 credits of school. No I can't work until 7:20 when I have to leave for school at 5. So, I happily found people to cover my shifts and as of today I may have even less shifts. I may be down to 8 hours a week. WOOOHOOOO! The house may get cleaned again. Hubby started a new job and is working a shitake mushroom amount of hours. So it's all good. I'll just miss my paychecks. Guess I better get those websites smokin again.

So, I'm back. Hope ya missed me!

Cleaning burn out

It didn't take long for it to hit. lol I'm blessed in that everyone that was supposed to come over today had to cancel for various reasons. Woohoo! I've never been so happy. I was looking forward to visiting, but goodness it's awesome to have no worries and I can still not put make-up on. I'm hoping the laundry gets completed by the end of the day.

cleaning

You know the house is a wreck when you're looking forward to cleaning. It is seriously a mess and we have people coming over for dinner tomorrow. Cooking, cleaning, and doing laundry. OK, I watched a movie while folding clothes, so it's not all work. lol Daughter is playing at the mall with friends and hubby took the our son to get bike parts. So, it's nice to clean with just the dogs and I. I don't have to reclean the same spot 4 times in a row. I better go eat lunch though so I have the energy to keep going. Looks like another movie:)

First week off

I've crammed all 4 of my workdays into 3. lol I'm off to my last shift right now and then to my friends cabin for the next 2 days. I'm looking forward to getting away with the kids, but I also want to come home and clean this pit. So much needs done around here in this short time off. Not to even mention exercise...

Coffee quiz

By the way, the sun came back this afternoon. WOOHOO!

You're a cappuccino!

Rain :(

I can honestly say I jinxed our sun. I was just starting to worry that I should find the sprinkler and water the lawn. So of course that means we woke up to a thunder storm. A very cool one I might add. You couldn't see the lightening very well because of how overcast it is, but the noise was defening. It sounded like 2 fighter jets were going through the valley beside us. Which happens, so that's how I know. lol

I'm plugging away at my new website and have added many pages to my other. It's a great day to sit and watch old movies and write up more articles. Ok, and I'll do some laundry to. Geesh, get off my back! Later!

SUN!!!

The sun is back. It's supposed to be here all week, but I don't trust those weather quacks. Beautiful blue skies without a cloud. Time to run into daughters room and help her clean a few seconds and then get outside. My tan from the 4th is starting to dim. Can't have that happen!

Summer school

Both of the kids are in summer school starting yesterday. Yippee! I have time to clean the house and work on websites in the morning now. Plus, my son get's to play with his best friends while on breaks. He came home all excited about how well he did and the new people he had in his classes. I really should email his teacher from last year, I'm sure she had a hand in his going into a seperate group from his friends. I brought it up for him to be seperated from them next year. It will build his confidence to get more friends. We are surrounded by girls and he needs more slumber party cohorts for one thing.

I have my last mid-term tomorrow. I guess I'll be cramming for it tomorrow afternoon. OH and we have 2 other tests as well. [head smack] Why all in one day?

Vincent Black Shadow

Hubby and I are up watching tv way to late. History channel to be exact. And that is because there was a great episode on bikes. I had no idea half these bikes existed. I love the old vincent black shadow. How cool to find out that someone here in the states has decided to repilicate or they are a family member moved here. WHATEVER! Your bike's rock! I can't wait to get more info. When I move within the next couple of years we will need a couple of bikes. I don't plan on using my huge suv to visit my relatives anymore when the weather is nice.

So if you are looking for a woman to give an opinion, here I am! Long line of biker bitches here;) Good girls, gone bad in other words. roflmao

Groove

I've so got to find it. I lost it over the weekend since I had no responsibilities. I only have 5 weeks of classes left before our first break. Easy as pie. Now if the house can just survive until then it will be a miracle!

From busy to busier

We had a great weekend visiting family. Mild 4th of July which was a big culture shock to the kids. I think they'll survive. lol They have been so spoiled with the show our neighborhood puts on every year.

Of course came home and had 2 hours to cram for my midterm. Then, 3 tests today and a midterm on Friday. All while my daughter is going to her first week of summer school so we have to finagle the work schedule around that. Oops, we didn't make the first class. I was thinking it started next week. I guess it's my son's that starts then. I guess I better add cleaning the desk to my to-do list. It would probably be a good idea to have this info handy. lol

Are you a Princess, Enchantress, Faerie, Mermaid or Toad?

witch
You are an Enchantress, somewhat an enigma,
you would love to change the world. You hold
strong views and, would love nothing more, to
use your magic to change the world around you.
When in conversation, you listen, take on their
comments, and fantasise how you could improve
things. Quite the idealist, you think you have
all the answers, whether for right or wrong.
You hold your intellect high, and believe you
can change the world! In a relationship, you
need a partner of high intellect.

The world
and you, often seems at odds, with you
frequently seeing things from a different point
of view.

You have a connection with nature,
often stating, that things will take their
natural course. Nevertheless, secretly, you
would like to use nature to your own
ends.

Your good points are that you are
intelligent, instigative and thoughtful and
your bad points are, you can be single-minded,
misled and remorseless.

You feel that your
superior knowledge should astound everyone
around you; and you wish for respect from your
peers.

As I love faeries so much, I had to take this cute little quiz. It jad a lot of close points. lol I'm definitely not single minded, misled, or remorseless!

Sad today

My Dad called me this morning to let me know that my Great-aunt Vivian passed away yesterday. We found out a few weeks ago that she had Leukemia and wasn't going to fight it. She was in her late 90's and lived a very good life. She was a great lady and I will miss her a lot. I'm glad she went peacefully instead of the disease taking her slowly and painfully. It's going to be a long week helping my Mom and my kids through this.

I'm glad you are free of pain Aunt Vivian. We love you!

Still stuffed up

but atleast it's getting better. The kids are adjusting to school being out. I've actually gotten to sleep in and catch up from being up late studying. My oldest makes breakfast in the morning and that is a welcome surprise! Only 1 week left and we are off to Mom's house for the 4th! WOOHOO, can't wait. I've told hubby that I'm seriously considering skipping school on the 1st so we can leave on Friday when he gets home. lol I'm so excited to see them and to have nothing to do for 4 whole days. Ahhhhh, it's what is keeping me sane right now.
