Enough on the plate? NAH

K, since working 30 hours a week and having control of the house and finances isn't enough...I'm contemplating going back to school. I've been in this place before thinking I need to go get a degree. But tomorrow I'm actually meeting with an admissions rep. After I make a decision I will post. I'm pretty sure I will be going, but making it work is another matter. 40 hours of class time and another 22 of work just overwhelms my mind right now!

Cleaning bug

I'm so happy it's here. I've got the cleaning bug. Our friends will be here in minutes so I will have to quit, that doesn't make me to happy. But, I've cleaned off lot's of counter space and even used 409 on them. Nothing like chemicals to make everything sparkly! lol

So, tonight I'm hoping to keep up the cleaning. My mom is coming twice a month to do the bathrooms, vacuum, mop and other odds and ends I never seem to get to. I'm so happy about this. She wants the extra cash and with my working 5 days a week, going to the gym and also working on my sites the house is becoming a disgrace.

Not much accomplished

How in the world can we get it all done? I feel like I didn't get anything done because the house is a wreck. I worked on putting away boxes and boxes of inventory and writing it all down so I can put it in the computer tomorrow. (I guess that's today now, lol)

We have friends coming over for wrestling party on Sunday. I guess tomorrow will be cleaning day. Load the dishwasher and then go to the gym. I can't wait to have my Mom start coming up to help out twice a month. I really should have had her start this week. She wants the extra cash since Dad is retired now. At least this way I know the housekeeper isn't snooping. I know my Mom doesn't want to find anything in my house! roflmao

Sick kid?

Well I had quite the scare on Monday. My daughter woke up and felt dizzy. She didn't tell me this of course. Then we were almost ready to go to school and she was standing in the living room watching tv. All the sudden I hear a big crash. I peak around the computer hutch as I'm getting out of my chair and she is flat on her back. ON THE GLASS COFFEETABLE! Holy shit! Help her up and she is dazed looking and crying of course, she's only 9. Take son to school, then try to track Dad down because he took the insurance card for his cholestrol screening. Of all the days right?

So, we came home. I didn't really think anything of it but to let her rest. I'm not the worrying kind, my kids have never really been sick so it doesn't pop into my head that something major could ever be wrong. I figured just long weekend, too much activity. Which is why I'm good friends with worry warts. lol She tells me that she would be at the hospital right now. Ok, duh, maybe I should be a little more worried [head smack] So off we go for glucos, EKG, the works. Talk to my Dad in between the 2 doctor offices and he mentions how my Mom's low blood pressure does that to her when she is dehydrated. Well, the princess wouldn't even try to pee in a cup so we could find out if she was dehydrated. But since their where 2 parties and she hadn't peed the whole day, it's a safe assumption she has the same issue as my Mom.

She's all fine now, Dad loaded her up with Gatorade. lol But boy it sucked to be Momma on Monday. Oh, I forgot to mention I was desperately trying to get ahold of someone to work for me as this is all going on. OIY, what a Monday!

Work sucked

I spent the whole shift working my ass off, making way more drinks than normal and my tips sucked! Enough said. Made me in a pisser of a mood. HMPH

Back to reality

Well vacation went well. Hubby and I had a blast and wish we could move there. But best of all, the kids and grandparents had a great time together. I treasure their relationship as I did not have grandparents that wanted to be so involved in my life. So looks like we will be able to do it again sometime. lol

Now I have to figure out how to fit it all back in. Exercise, 30 hour plus work week, website redesign and updates, new website built, cleaning, mommying and still being a wife. OH, let's add PMS to the top of that list right now! rofl I guess that's the price to pay for going on vacation. I'm glad I have the extra hours. I can easily pay for the suburban myself and start stacking money away to go to Leavenworth in a few weeks for the may pole festival. We've never been and we know the kids are dieing to see where mom and dad run off to alone. lol

Spring Break

K, I may be one of the only people happy about it being spring break. lol Our anniversary is the 16th and we are heading out of town for 5 days. Grandma and Grandpa are taking the kids and the dogs for the whole time and we will have nothing to do. Yippee, no responsibility! No getting up and making people breakfast, no cooking dinner, cleaning the house, or anything. Ahhh, I can't wait.

running around days

Today was just one of those days. Non-stop, no time to eat, better make a list kind of days. I got most of it done, but unfortunately that meant having pizza for dinner. You know when pizza doesn't sound good anymore that you have it too much. I better go put the left-overs in the fridge by the way. lol

Tomorrow is busy too, but at least I should have time to clean. I can't stand the house this messy. It's so hard to keep it clean when I'm not here. I've changed my pile of laundry from a mountain to an actual mountain range. The pile will no longer stay upright, it skids on down the hallway now. I know soon some of it will actually start loading itself into the washer. If I wasn't such a horror movie junky that might be funny. Maybe King can write a book about us Mom's daily life and how the chores actually did take over us! lol

Wrestlemania

WOOHOOO, it was wrestlemania tonight. I love the WWE, hot guys in little clothing. What's not to like? roflmao So, almost all our favorites won and it was a great night. We all had lot's of fun yelling at the tv. lol

Now to just catch up on the laundry. OIY, I don't think my son has any underwear for school tomorrow. Good thing I have a couple more episodes of Sex in the City to watch.

DSL

Ok, now my darn Murphy's law is kicking in. DSL was supposed to be connected. I could install after 5 pm. Of course in Mommy hours that means if you get started by 6:30 you are doing awesome! So by 7 I was frustrated, close to tears or puking, not sure if one or both. lol Called tech support and they had me do the same thing I'd already done. Nice to know I'm as smart as the next guy;) So, I now have a trouble ticket and am hoping, praying, crossing fingers that it will be fixed tomorrow. Tech guy and I figure they forgot to flip a switch at the office. Just my luck!

So, here I am on dial up and aol still. wahhhhh At least I know how to connect it all back in my sleep. Anyone need their dsl connected? I'll be right over. I will work for red bulls! roflmao

car, massage, dsl

Wow, lot's happened recently. lol So last week my car started acting up. Yes the one I just bought a week ago. Come to find out, no one had looked at the battery. So had to buy a new one. I'm going to stop by the dealer on the way to work and see if I can't get the money from them. Their safety check should have caught this. Plus my change oil light keeps coming on. Not happy about this, but it is trivial. Just one more thing to add to my busy mondays.

But, I got my first massage today. I will be going regularly to those now. lol I think it would be a great reward for getting my butt to the gym. If I can make it to the gym 4 times a week, then I can reward myself with a massage.

Oh and aol will be out of here by next week! SO HAPPY. I'm signing up for an incredible deal with my phone company and it will be installed on thursday evening. I just can't wait. It will cut my time online by half at least!

Now to get ready for work and stop and buy a hat on the way. Our rain has again found us. lol It's been pouring for 4 days now. Ahhh, spring in Washington.

I HATE AOL!!! I've been with them for over 3 years and have had nothing but problems each time they have an upgrade. This last upgrade with the security edition takes the cake. It has messed with other programs on my computer to boot. Brand new computer and it has issues now because of this. I do like the extra protection, it's caught some stuff as I'm surfing. BUT, give me a break. I can't get into my settings to change them. I can't click on any links in my emails and haven't been able to for months. I did a live chat with a tech member today and we even resorted to a quick restore of the program. To no availe, I still can't get into my settings to change them.

I'm calling my phone company and getting DSL. I'm sure they have to have some kind of special going on. Freakin AOL!

Doing it all

Well obviously someone else on this planet thought I was doing too much also. Hubby tried to start his truck this morning for work and it decided to take the day off. So, I'm stuck at home. Happily, I might add except for the fact that I had a free hour massage scheduled for first thing this morning:( Oh well, I'm getting caught up on things around here. I just hope there's nothing seriously wrong with the truck. I haven't sent the taxes off yet and don't know how long that will take to get back this late in the year.

Then of course I have a dilemma. I got voted into our bunco group as a permanent member last month and it's tonight. I don't have anyone that can play for me. Well, it's Luke's first wrestling match tonight! I'm sick that I can't do both. I can just know I will hear about this for the rest of my life. He'll be at the Olympics and they will announce over the loudspeaker that his Mom missed his first match ever because she had to play bunco with her friends. YIKES, what's a mom to do? WAHHHHH

Work

Darn it! I've worked everyday since I bought the car. I have had no time for a trip to friends houses to show it off. lol Top that off with half days this week and I'm running around crazy. But, atleast I'm working and putting money away for my new car payment. lmao

Got the car!

I'm so happy. I've got my pot of gold today. Yes, the suburban is gold. lol And it's my favorite holiday, so it's fitting to me. I was sad to say goodbye to my old car, she was a good one. But, it's so nice to have all the room. I'm in heaven and can't wait to take a road trip. Hubby's glad I have to work all weekend so I won't be able to put the miles on until next week. lol

So, bring on the next scrapbook weekend! I'm ready to drive all the girls in one car now. lol Pile into Momma's party rig.

Newer car?

Well, I have to go ahead to go and wheel and deal tomorrow. I went and test drove a suburban and I have to say I'm in love! It turns on a dime, has room for the kids, dog, all our scrapbook stuff, luggage and we could bring friends over to visit with us at Grandma and Grandpa's house. Yippee. So, there is a 2000 in gold that is a great deal, but I'm going to hit them up for the 2003. It's a charcoal-like grey and when the light hits it there are fleckks of blue and green. Plus it has the sunroof that I really hate to do without. lol I love my sunroofs. When you live in rainy Washington you have to get all the light you can get. So wish me luck that I don't screw anything up tomorrow. I've never been good at haggling, but damn it I'm going to have to if I want the 2003 instead. lol

Night with hubby!

Yippee! Not sure how it all fell in place, but the kids are gone for the night and we are going out. Of course, the bad spin is I have to be at work tomorrow morning at 6. But, hey, who needs sleep right? I'm a Mom! It's 5:22 and we are just waiting for our friends to bring our daughter back home so we can take them down to grandma and grandpa's. Then we can sit in the car and do the whole,"Where do you want to go?, I don't care, what do you feel like eating?" Never fails! Hopefully we will make it to the movies. We want to go see that so cool, or whatever it's called. The one with John Travolta and all the big names. I wouldn't mind just hanging out at the bar playing darts and enjoying no kids running around. lol

How can I decide if they are sick or not when they complain about their stomache's? I've decided just to bore them to death. They can't come out of their rooms unless it's for bathroom, food, or to do homework. I told them this before so they could change their minds, but it didn't deter them. Maybe it's allergies. Our tree pollen count is off the charts right now.

Now I need to actually do some work around here. Small goals of a clean kitchen, dining room table, and dusting the living room. It's almost 70 here and just gorgeous. It was supposed to be outside day, but I think I will weed after work tomorrow and thursday. My back still tweaks when I twist wrong. I don't need to mess up the good money I'm paying to my chiropractor. lol
