funky funk over?

It's on it's way out finally. I've been in a funk for a while now. Quite a while. But I am on the way out of it. I've noticed that everything is cyclic. Is that even the right spelling? lol

But the cycles are getting quicker than they used to. I am beginning to think it because I'm not actually dealing with the other issues, just letting them go by.

I am finally to the point of taking control of life instead of just dealing with it as it happens. Ahhhh, this is such a better place to be in. I really dislike dealing with it as it happens. I'm still wondering about going to a therapist, but it doesn't seem like such a necessity at the moment. Cause I really don't have time to research for a good one and then have an appointment. Goodness, there are days I can barely get my workout in and I work at the freakin' gym!

google dance

Is google ever going to get done with their dancing? Now don't get me wrong, I really do love google. It is the only search I use. But this stupid PR is the worst thing ever thought up. Not only that, but they rethink every so often how to make it more stupid. But this latest transition has been going on over 2 months.

I love to see the little green line go up on my sites. Even though I know it really has nothing to do with my sales and traffic, it's just cool. lol But I do need it to go up so I can get some more of my blogs on some paid sites. I don't want to just rely on this site for paid blogging. I want to jump in with both feet and get soaking wet this month. lol

The consensus is it finally quit updating because it was so out of date. That is cool, I can totally live with that. But we need to get some of the other sites updated with that decision. lol I have sites with major traffic that are still not pulling in numbers for paid blogging because of PR. The big dummies!

Paid blogging

I know you have seen the disclaimer on here and then of course some of the links. Not all of them as some of them are just me sending you to my favorite places I know and love. lol But I did join Pay Per Post a few months ago and I've been very happy with them.

I've only been taking opps here and there but it has been enough to pay for my websites and some monthly programs I belong too. That is all I was hoping for. Now it is time to start taking a few more opps and cover some more fun expenses. Like trips to the movies and family dinner nights.

I am glad I don't have to take any blogging opportunities that don't fit into my blog. I'm not ready to sell myself out just to get a couple of bucks. But I do appreciate finding new sites to visit and then reviewing them for all of you to check out.

My favorites are the movies. There have been movie opps that have come out and I haven't even heard of the movie yet in previews. It never fails that I start seeing the trailers about a week after it becomes available through Pay Per Post. I love being able to check out the movie sites before anyone else even knows about it.

Blogging about stuff I like is of course an addiction. But making extra money while I blog about it is now an obsession. You to can get paid to blog about whatever you want. Just pick what fits your life and post!

Football yipee!

I'm so glad football is back on. I can sit here and do webwork and still be watching the game. I don't actually have to watch it since I've been watching it since I was little. I can listen and look up when a really good play happens. lol Plus we have tivo so if I missed something we just rewind. What in the world did we do before Tivo? I can't even remember those dark ages.

Right now we are in the end of the third quarter and the second washington team is sucking butt. lol We quit watching the WSU game because it was so bad and the UW game finally started. But now UCLA just did a killer interception and the game will totally be over. I actually think I hear hubby brushing his teeth and getting ready for bed. He's the one that likes to watch college ball, not me!

If that is the case then I have a bunch of movies to catch up on tonight while I update blogs. :)

Plan ahead for Xmas

...without leaving the house.

Many people cringe when they hear the words Black Friday. But me, I laugh in the face of no sleep and long lines. Ok, I'm only laughing from sleep deprivation and a caffeine high. But that is beside the point. lol

I do love Black Friday but I have no way to get to all the stores at once and get the best deals. I also don't like leaving our hill anymore and that means I don't get to all the stores I used to. :( Let alone the fact that all of the stores you can find at bfads are not all in my area anymore. I miss that. All of the companies that I have seen so far are the one's that I used to hit regularly when the kids were young and we were closer to the big mall.

For those of you that have never participated in Black Friday you will be getting in much better by joining the newsletter. Normally you have to sit on Thanksgiving Day and go through the big ads for the next morning. Stores open anywhere from 5-7am and have door buster sales to get you there early. Now is the hard part. Many of them have MUST HAVE items in very limited quantities per store. There is no way to hit all the stores at opening to get the best deals.

But you can go to bfads and find the ads as soon as they are released to the printers. Then choose what you are looking for and shop ONLINE! ARE YOU KIDDING ME? Wow, I will be sitting at home with my laptop this Black Friday and having the time of my life shopping. I encourage you to sign up for updates.

Last night of puppies

My Aunt is home tomorrow afternoon and my time with the girls will be up for a little while. We've had them for about 4 weeks and I don't know what I'm gonna do without them. The first couple of weeks was a big adjustment, but now it's like having 2 more kids. lol Except these kids will nap with me whenever I want. LMBO

K, the problem is hubby is gone a lot lately and I only have them with me in the evening to watch tv with. Cuddle on the couch. I haven't had something so excited to see me when I get home than when the kids were super young. These dogs are constant puppies even at a little over 1 and I'm gonna miss them.

She said she's not going to be out of town for a while now and that makes me sad. I told her we could have joint custody of the dogs, but now I'm sorry I did. :( If she's not going to travel as much, then I'm going to have to get a couple of little dogs. I'm just going to miss having them too much not to get my own.

Movies to choose from

I have too many choices for movies and tv shows tonight. lol It's hard to decide on the quick show, finish Black Snake Moan, or start Delta Farce or Georgia Rule. I'm half way through BSM I think, so I will finish that one first. I'll report back on how it finishes. I hadn't heard anything about it before watching a preview on another movie in the last week. After the preview I knew I had to see it.

Lawrence Fishbourne plays a man that lives in the rural south. One day he goes out to find a young white woman beaten (thought to be dead) on his road. He learns through others that she is a druggy sex addict and he deems it his responsibility to save her from herself. There have been a lot of funny parts for how serious the movie is. Also, there are many other little stories going on as well. But it's easy to keep up with. I'll try to get back with a review of the whole movie soon.

Weight loss help

I'm a personal trainer by day, not sure if you've read that anywhere on here or not. lol Being such I have come across many clients that have had weight loss surgery and none of them have kept it off. Obviously because they didn't get the help, they merely had surgery and were let off on their own. That is just not an option. You have to change your habits.

Sometimes obesity surgery is a life saving necessity. In those cases you still need counseling. Journey Lite has all of that and more. You can go to their home page and find a seminar near you to see if this is even a good option for you. They have forums, recipes, support groups and a lot of education. Education is key to your success and Journey Lite is dedicated to you succeeding.

Hello again

Well I'm just checking in to see if anyone needs a fast forward to where it's really happening. I'm keeping this open for some specific reasons. lol

So what's happening around here? Well school started and that was crazy to get used to last week. I'm back to work almost full swing. Ok, I didn't make it 30 hours, but I intended to. lmao Get off my back! I have more appointments set up for this week, so I'll get back in a groove.

Tonight I'm PMSing so bad I'm looking for a good bar fight. Anyone wanna head down to the bar with me for some tequila shots? It's Sunday night so you know the chicks down there deserve a good beatin'!!! Sigh, no one ever wants to go start trouble with me. Guess that's a good thing.

Alright, I need to hit the zillion other blogs I have going as well. I just wanted to send a quick update and HOLA Bitchola's!

Notice me gone?

So did you notice that I'm not at this address much? Miss me yet? I have put the blog back on wordpress, but have to keep this one open in case of an emergency again. lol So you can hit me on either blog for some updates. But if you want to get more of the dish, then hit my domain at www.busymomma.com.

This week has been super hot. We aren't used to 90's here in Seattle. Especially this early in the Summer! I love it, but it's quite miserable in the afternoon/evening. It's midnight right now and the house is finally starting to cool off. All the doors and windows are open and fans are going everywhere. I'm getting dog tired, but I can't stand to close up the house yet. It's going to get so dang hot when I do. :(

It's to cool down after today. Hoping we actually get the storms that are predicted. Although not any rain. We are going to have a yard sale this weekend, so no rain!
